1. Add attention to detail
Attention to detail is everything in a space, especially when it’s your bedroom. From the bedsheets to the pieces you choose to place on the shelves, nothing should be overlooked. You may not realize it but all of it has an impact on the way that your room looks.
2. Add Lots of Windows
Maximize natural light and ventilation in your bedroom by adding lots of windows. It’ll brighten up the space and make it a whole lot comfier. Windows also add a chic touch to the room, so it’s not just for practicality reasons but aesthetics too.
3. Add a Rug
Rugs have this quality where they can give a place a finished look. A rug will add character to your room, in addition to a lot of practical factors too. There are so many different materials and designs out there, so make sure to pick one that’ll go perfectly with your room.
4.Add Mirrors

Put lots of mirrors in your room and maybe even a mirrored wall for some extra feels. You can’t really go wrong with mirrors so don’t hesitate in adding them.
Don’ts
1. Add too much color
Try sticking to a color pallet instead of adding lots of different colors. You don’t want the room to look too much. If you want a pop of color, you can maybe paint one of the walls a bright color, leaving the rest white or neutral.
2. Neglect Lighting
Lighting plays an important role in the look and feel of a room so don’t neglect it. Choose your lighting carefully; make sure that it’ll brighten up the space. You can add different kinds of lights from lamps to spotlights and so much more.
3. Overcrowd the space
While accessorizing is always great you don’t want to overdo it as that’ll maybe the room look chaotic. Pick a few items that you want to decorate it with and let go of the rest. Overcrowding will give you anxiety instead of providing you with a serene space.
4.Match everything
If you match everything in your room, it can make it look monotonous and boring. While we agree that it shouldn’t look mismatched, there should be a variety of textures and materials that give your room personality.
Follow these and watch how they transform the look of your room. Happy decorating!
